What can I say about this band, asides from the fact that they are not signed and thats horribly wrong. They have released a cd called 424C414E4B (Blank in hexidecimal). This is a self released cd in mp3 format on the net so that they can spread the word around. Great start!

Basically the sound they've carried on the cd is remeniscent of VNV Nation's Darkangel, as the opening track has a longer intro into an awesome assortment of fast paced EBM. Probably one of the best songs I have heard in awhile. Well the cd continues, it progresses the feeling they have created of a dj's dream, never ending beats on the dancefloor! The cd comes to the last EBM song on it titled Mutant Engine. This song in a way is similar to Visual Overflow but minus the soothing chorus that the later song has. The last song is more along the lines or experiment noise and electro then EBM, however it is excellent just on its own. Basically there first cd has an amazing potentional for dancefloor hoaring, as its hard to resist the music itself. The vocals you may ask are a little gruffy and at times a little hard to hear, however they suit the music quite well.

With all that in mind, I have had the opportunity to hear their second release (3 new tracks) in which they've improved greatly on areas that wouldn't hurt from the extra work. The opening track on Promo 2 for some reason reminds me of old Final Fantasy 1, and I love the layering they have done with it. The first thing you'll notice on the 2nd cd is that they have improved their vocals immensly. As they are crisper and easier to pull out of the music, they also have an unpolished sound to them that seems to be the trend in the industry. This is probably one of the redeeming factors I personally think they should keep! The first song is great but what gets me is "Silent" track 2, something to do with the heavier beats in the background to a faster paced tempo up front. The song itself is amazing and the chorus will actually make you want to dance no matter how still and silent you are.

With all this said and done, I truly hope this duet gets signed to a deserving label as I feel they will move through the scene as quickly as Icon of Coil did. They currently are hitting dance floors all over the west coast and Australia as more and more people are hearing what this Italian duet can do! Best of luck to them.
