Various Artists: Cryogenic Studio-Volume 2

Review By: Azriel K.

The first thing I thought when I heard this album "Why the fuck didn't I get this while I was still a DJ???"
Bands like Noise Unit, Delerium, pro-tech, equinox and front line assembly really throw out some good tunes. The Combination of relaxing melodies and up-beat songs fit very nicely into this 2 CD set. I still picture how much better my nights as a DJ would have gone if I had CD's like this one. There is defiantly some experimentation used in some of these creations. Though my knowledge of Electronic Dance is limited, I defiantly know what I like. In my opinion one of the best songs to dance to on here is "re-thread" by Pro-tech and the most interesting song is defiantly "Inner Chaos" by Noise Unit which features a clip from The Crow, works very well into the song.
Do yourself a favor and get yourself a copy of this, I guarantee you will not regret it. R.N. Atrophy is available at West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Alberta and in any other HMV in Canada by ordering it. You can also e-mail the band themselves to get yourself a copy.
