Well this is one of Terminal Choice's Side Projects. Personally it borderlines on better then Terminal Choice, but thats because Im partial to female vocals in industrial music. This cd is somewhat hard to explain its sound as its not really heavy on any one sounding feature. Basically its a cross between an electro (terminal choice sound) some EBM like beats and rythm and some ethereal style mood.

The cd itself opens up with one of the six instrumental only songs which are very well done. Then it heads into probably my second favorite song on the cd, "Seelenschmerz" which in English translate to Soul Pain. This song has strong female vocals very similar to the XMTP sound. After this with the exception of "Der Spiegel" (The Mirror), the rest sounds almost totally the same. The lyrics on the most part are humorous and cheesy as is expected. The music doesnt become to elaborate. Der Spiegel itself has an off wall melody that expresses a rythm and pace for the song, combined with the heavily vocoded vocals sung in german it offers a unique song, one that is catchy enough to get played. This cd overall is worth buying just as something to keep around the house for a cleaning day or such as it has like I say a mood setting to it that keeps your ears entertained without distracting you too much.

If your into Terminal Choice or X Marks the Pedwalk you will probably enjoy the cd. Its currently been pushed back by two more EP releases of Seelenschmerz that are both limited to 1000 copies. If you like the goth feel of things too you'll probably like the cd as well as it comes across and dark and dreary.
